I am Roberto Romero, a food photographer in Madrid. I love capturing the essence of each dish: the texture, the colour, the light that turns an ingredient into an image you can almost taste.
I look at the light first. A dish can be perfect and still come out flat if the light doesn't treat it well; with the right light, a simple ingredient becomes something you want to eat. Then come texture and colour, which are what make someone want to try it.
I've photographed everything from freshly made arepas to fine dining, and I don't change how I look: I look for what makes that particular dish good, without dressing it up.
I also photograph the atmosphere of the venue, so your menu, your website and your socials show what it's really like to eat there.
The standard pack lasts 1 hour 30 minutes and includes photography of the dishes and the atmosphere plus professional editing, for €290. If you need more time or a full report on the venue, ask me and we'll work it out. You book from the calendar on the page with 50% through PayPal and pay the other 50% on the day of the session.
